Meet our Financial and Administration Manager, Laura Beltramone

1 . What is your role in Inpeco? Why did you choose Inpeco as your employer?

My current role in Inpeco is to lead the financial and administration department of Inpeco SPA.

I am very proud to work here because our company operates in a very innovative sector where new ideas can improve people’s quality of life.

2. Tell me about your journey to become a leader in your field? Why did you choose this career?

After a degree in Economics, my professional career started as a Controller in an international company in the mining sector. Afterwards, I had the opportunity to work as an Internal Auditor and finally as an Administration Manager in several other companies.

In general, I think I have been lucky to have had the opportunity to travel a lot, to learn from every job I’ve done and from every person I met in my professional life.

In my view, curiosity and knowledge are the most important values in work, as well as in life.

3. What are challenges of managing your team and how do you overcome them?

The main challenge is trying to build a team spirit that overcomes personal differences but acknowledges individual attitudes. You can see it more or less like being a sport coach.

4. How would you motivate other women to achieve the same level of success?

I would say achievements increase your self-respect, provide you with more freedom to accomplish your daily work and give you the opportunity to enjoy new experiences.

5. What are you doing in your free time outside work?

In normal times I used to travel a lot. Nowadays, during the pandemic, I like to read and have long walks in nature.

I’am passionate about orchids, wonderful, strong, elegant and independent flowers. In my free time I like to take care of my greenhouse or look for new seedlings to pot.

6. IWD 21 theme is ChooseToChallenge, what does it mean to you?

To me it means challenging my comfort zone to discover new possibilities and new ways to live and work.
